Lead Graphic Designer for Treasure Cove at Shanghai Disneyland. An entire land inspired by the world of Pirates of the Caribbean. Designed, managed, and art directed scope for signage, posters, painted graphics, and artwork througout the land.
Described by The Verge as “...transcend[ing] its escape room and video game influences, turning a well-known format into a dramatic and emotional experience that is utterly unique.”
You have received the last will and testament of a mysterious woman named Josie. Although you've never met, she has inexplicably entrusted her storage room to you, filled with decades of collected memories and cryptic secrets. Remnants of her entire life are all here in one place - left for you to discover.
As a young girl growing up in the 1960's, Josie was gifted a tape recorder for her 12th birthday and began documenting every part her life. But in her old age, she has become almost unrecognizable, warped by the tragic events of her past.
"The Nest" is an immersive experience in Los Angeles that gives you the freedom to investigate her story. Equipped with a flashlight, search through personal effects, explore your surroundings, and listen to audio cassettes to piece together the dramatic narrative of Josie's life.

These are a few sample scenes from an adaptation of our show, The Nest, as a location-based VR experience currently in development. As the audience, you embody one of the two main characters, Josie or Tom, exploring an abandoned moving truck full of objects from their lives together and reliving their memories along the way. Our narrative design intent was to adapt the compelling story from The Nest as an immersive theater show, and translate the core experience into meaningful gameplay that can only be achieved in VR.

Delusion is an interactive, immersive theater show that was created at a 100 year old manor in Los Angeles, CA. As a part of the creative team in 2014 and 2016, my responsibility as a Scenic Designer focused primarily on the procurement, design, construction, and placement of props and set pieces within the hour-long show that was featured in LA times, The Verge, and NPR.
Collaboration with the creative teams of Thirdrail Projects and Oculus Story Studio on the creative development and scenic design of a bespoke performance for the DevLab VR conference in October, 2016.
